Art in a Heart – 'Beachcomber'
This heart depicts one of my favourite places and pastimes. I can while away many an hour paddling along the shoreline picking up shells and pebbles, all little treasures squirreled away into the nearest pocket usually to be found at a later date whilst looking for change.
I used crushed glass, sheet glass and a little enamel to create this heart, when the light catches it on a sunny day it transports you to happy, simple days spent on the shore.
Glass Heart Size approx: 15 x 12cm
