Genesis– Freestanding Glass Art

'Genesis' – New Beginnings. I made this piece to represent that moment when something new starts. It may be a new chapter in life, a spark of an idea, a new venture ... the spark of a new beginning.
 
This piece uses various glass forming techniques from the centre 'nucleus' to the vibrant edges pushing out from the central core. Some of my favourtire blues and greens are used in this piece and they are particularly special where they overlap, giving depth and dimension. The varying textures play with the light differently causing you to look and gaze for longer.
 
As this piece is freestanding it works well in a range of positions, refracting light beautifully.
 
The metal stand is included.

This glass panel comes in a gift box and the base is wrapped in acid free tissue paper. All packaged well for delivery.
