'Summer' – Kilnformed glass leaf
'Summer' is the seasonal leaf in a collection of glass that I have recently produced. When I think of summer I think of vibrant greens and blues, maybe because I love to swim outdoors when I have the chance when the sun is blazing, those are the colours I have used to convey my feeling of 'Summer'. I have used sheet glasses and crushed glasses to produce a piece that plays with light beautifully and twinkles in any position.
I love to have plants indoors but sadly I am not very good at remembering to water them or if I do I end up drowning them. This piece of glass art is perfect for those of us that like to bring a little of nature inside and without the stress of watering. It catches the light beautifully and the colours reflect on to the walls (as the pictures show), reflections change throughout the day depending on position.
This piece is freestanding and works well in a range of postions.

The glass fixing tightens using a slot top screwdriver and comes complete with a decorative cap.
This glass panel comes in a gift box and the base is wrapped in acid free tissue paper. All packaged well for delivery.
