I am at my happiest when in the great outdoors with The Lake District and Scotland being favourites of mine and where I find the majority of my inspiration. This piece was inspired by looking over Derwentwater to Catbells one late Spring evening. I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I enjoyed the inspiration behind it and creating it.
 
I have used sheet glasses, cut and crushed glasses and enamels to create this piece, and it is only after several kiln firings that I consider it complete. 
 
This piece is freestanding and works well in a range of postions. Its base is oak and has been oiled to bring out the beauty of the grain.
 
Glass panel size is approx: 305 x 170mm
Oak base size is approx: 170mm wide x 70mm deep
 
This glass panel comes in a gift box and the base is wrapped in acid free tissue paper. All packaged well for delivery.
