'Twilight Meadow'- Freestanding Glass Art

Anyone that knows me knows that I am at my happiest when I'm outdoors amongst nature. It is my local river banks and lakes that inspired this piece. I love how the wild flowers are silhouetted against the waters edge and how their heads and seed pods bob gently in the breeze. The deep steel blue glass provides the perfect backdrop without being overpowering. This piece plays with the light passing through and reflected light bounces off the textures of the stems and crushed glasses used creating depth and a beautiful twinkle. The glass panel itself sits on a diagonal across a beautifully crafted smooth blue/grey Cumbrian slate base. Sitting below the main panel is a further carpet of flowers and texture which marries the panel to it’s base.
 
This piece is freestanding and works well in a range of postions.

Cumbrian slate base: 240mm x 55mm x 50mm
Overall height approx: 240mm
The glass fixings tighten with a small allen key which is included.
 
This glass panel comes in a gift box and the base is wrapped in acid free tissue paper. All packaged well for delivery.
